Please note: Hanging weight can vary by 10–12% in either direction.
Processing & Pickup
All animals are processed at trusted, family-owned USDA-inspected facilities:
- Midsouth Packers – Forsyth, GA
- Blue Ridge Meats – Rabun Gap, GA
- North Georgia Meats – Ellijay, GA
Customers may pick up directly from the processor. If picking up from Midsouth (Forsyth, Ga.) is not convenient, we offer transport to our farm in Clarkesville for a $100 fee, which will be added to your final invoice. We can offer the same transport from BRM or North Georgia Meats for a $50 fee.
Pickup timing is approximately 2.5–3 weeks after harvest.
Customize Your Order
When you reserve a half, we’ll walk you through completing your cut sheet, helping you choose the cuts that best fit your family.
Your selections impact your final take-home weight. For example, choosing more bone-in cuts (ribeyes, porterhouses, roasts) will increase total weight, while boneless options reduce it, though you’re receiving the same amount of beef either way.
You’ll also have the option to include:
- Soup bones or marrow bones (Cross cut shank)
- Organ meats (liver, heart, tongue)
- Oxtail and other specialty cuts
Why Buy in Bulk?
Purchasing a half or whole beef typically saves around 25% compared to buying the same quantity through our retail bundles.
Freezer Space
Plan for approximately 1 cubic foot of freezer space per 30 lbs. of beef.
A half beef typically fits well in a 7–8 cubic foot chest freezer.
