Osso buco means “bone with a hole” and is traditionally a classic Italian dish where bone-in shanks are gently braised with vegetables, fresh herbs, and wine. As the shanks cook, the marrow from the bones bastes the meat, creating a luscious, deeply flavorful sauce.
