Since we started selling beef to customers in 2019 our team has grown a little bit! We are so grateful to have three awesome young people as a part of our teXga family now.
Dylan Rice is our Farm Operations manager. Dylan joined us in January 2023 as an agriculture intern from North Georgia Technical College. He completed his associates degree in agriculture at NGTC in May 2024 and joined us full time. Dylan helps to oversee our day-to-day farm activities with both animals and meat orders, is the chief of our freezer and heads up some of our wholesale accounts. We are super grateful for his hard work and commitment to teXga customers.
Addie Caudell joined our team in January 2024 as a Work Based Learning Student from Habersham Central High School. Addie helps handle some customer correspondence, packing of orders for at farm pick ups and on shipping days. She is also interested in becoming an Agriculture Educator after college. She loves to connect with our customers during their pick ups about their orders and helps us design educational info for emails and social media posts.
Caroline McClure is a Junior at White County High School. She joined our team in September 2023 and immediately went to work helping us pack and ship orders. She cooks and films various recipes for us for our Meat Monday series that we post on social media and share via our eNewsletter. Caroline oversees pick ups for us on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She plans to own a small business one day when she finishes school.
If Kyle and I are not here to greet you at an on-farm pick up, one of these three delightful young people will be here to serve you. These three cousins have become like our family since joining our team and we could not be more grateful for their big hearts, great communication and willingness to serve well.
