teXga beef stroganoff (updated version)

Beef Stroganoff | A lower calorie stroganoff recipe!

Ingredients:

- 2 packs of teXga ground beef OR 2 packs of stew meat OR 2 lbs. of sirloin steak, sliced
- Salt & black pepper to taste + 2 tsp garlic powder & 2 tsp paprika
- 2 TBS olive oil or butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 or 2 TBS of minced garlic
- 3 carrots, diced
- 3 stems of celery, diced
- 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
- 3 cup beef stock
- 1/2 cup light sour cream
- 2 cans of low fat (or even fat free) cream of mushroom soup
- 2 TBS *dijon mustard (We use a spicy mustard)
- Minced parsley to top dish
- 1 package of egg noodles

Directions:
- Cook diced onion and minced garlic in olive oil in a pan until fragrant and add your ground beef.
- Drain ground beef and set to the side.
(Or sear your steak or stew meat)
- Using the same pot, poor in your beef stock to cook down diced celery carrots and mushrooms — cook 5 mins then add
- Mushrooms, sour cream & spicy mustard
- Once sauce thickens add your ground beef back into the pot.
- Season with alt, pepper to taste, paprika & garlic powder
- The last step is to add your noodles and let them cook in the meat and veggie sauce until tender.
- Top with fresh parsley and enjoy!
